Where did we get the name, "YAW"?

While I was taking my OUPV/Master 100 Ton course I learned about yawing and I realized that I had been yawing this whole time fishing! Yawing is a fishing technique to trigger bites by turning the boat left and right about its vertical axis.

What to expect and what to bring?

You will need a fishing license. You may also want to bring food and beverages, rain gear, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Dress in layers to ensure comfort when the weather changes (as it so often does on Lake Erie).
