Where did we get the name, "YAW"?

 While I was taking my OUPV/Master 100 Ton course I learned about yawing and I realized that I had been yawing this whole time fishing! Yawing is a fishing technique to trigger bites by turning the boat left and right about its vertical axis.

What to expect and what to bring?

​You will need a fishing license. You may also want to bring food and beverages, rain gear, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Dress in layers to ensure comfort when the weather changes (as it so often does on Lake Erie).

What makes this charter different?

This charter is different from others because this is an up-close hands-on educational experience in which you are having a good time and learning techniques that will give you the best opportunities to get fish in the boat!
